I finally made it to my new home in Kullavik last night, after a three hour train trip from Stockholm. Before we left we had a look around the Vasa Museet, at an old war ship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and remained under water for 333 years; followed by a couple brief Swedish lessons.
My “new family” is really nice, and they all speak English, which is kind of handy. I started school today, too. School is very different, and I couldn't understand a word of the lessons, but I had someone show me around and translate a few things, which was really nice.
