OK, so my birthday isn't for another week and a half, but a nice surprise came in the mail today — a card from my grandmother and a digital camera from my dear father! He had taken a few photos with it before sending it, which you can see here. Undoubtedly I will soon have plenty of photos of my new home and family, too.
Otherwise, school has been pretty good, the people are nice and there's actually been clear skies and sunlight for two days in a row now.
