Wie ist das Wetter heute?
June 9th, 2001Yesterday afternoon, we, the family minus Anders, went to see Anders' nephew tar studenten (graduate, from highschool). It seems to be a fairly important Swedish tradition and they make a pretty big deal out of it.
The parents gather around holding big signs with photos of their child at a very young age, doing something embarrassing, mostly. Then each class runs up on stage, finely dressed, and sings some kind of song.
When that's all finished, they drive around (do a few laps, I say) town a few times in fancy cars.
Sauce is playing tonight, just around the corner near where Courtney lives. I guess watching them and having a few beers is all that I have planned for the evening…
