It's hot in here
July 27th, 2001The two week program at the highschool in Ribe is just about over and we leave tomorrow for a week in Copenhagen. We've been doing a lot of things and seen a lot of sights here… too much to write about now, I think.
Yesterday we took a walk along the dikes, visited Schackenborg Castle and spent a couple of hours walking around the marshtown of Tønder. Then we had a sports evening, or “olympics,” in the evening…
We played soccer with goggles made from plastic cups with the bottoms cut out, towed a car around the field, climbed through ropes and wrestled each other on a log across the creek.
We're having some kind of “farewell party” this evening and each group/class is preparing a little presentation.
Time to start packing…
